Keep several things in mind as you review each display: The jobs listed on the website are almost entirely donor-supported (missionaries supported by donors) and volunteer (no support at all) positions. There are few "paid" positions (receiving a fixed monthly salary), and those exist only due to the urgency of the need. Typically, less than 2% of the positions pay a fixed salary. These websites do NOT include every position for which Wycliffe has a need as some positions cannot be listed publicly. These positions are almost all full-time positions, either for volunteers or supported missionaries. There are a few part-time needs listed. If a particular position interests you, be aware that the specific position may no longer exist by the time you are fully prepared to work. If you go as a volunteer, you could be ready to leave in a matter of months, but if you go as a Wycliffe member, it could be more than a year before you leave for your first assignment. However, a position similar to the one you have noticed might well be open at the time you become ready. Remember God is directing your steps, and His timing and direction frequently differs from yours. When you come to Wycliffe, it should not be so much to apply for a specific job role as it is to seek to take a more direct part in the task of Bible translation. Your interests and IT skills will certainly be taken into account, but we make no promises about exactly what you may do and where you may work. God can use your skills in amazing ways!
