Where Our Needs Are Located

At the present time, the different kinds of IT jobs in the Wycliffe world tend to be located, with some notable exceptions of software development in Asia, as follows:

North America – The kinds of IT jobs related to thinking it up, developing, testing, documenting, integrating, distributing—all jobs related to software creation, deployment and central infrastructure (engineering, e-mail, security, etc.). Roughly 40% of our open positions are located here. There are some notable exceptions, such as programming (small, entity-specific field-operation databases) and web design (specific internet presence) positions.
Locations outside North America and Europe – These IT jobs relate to troubleshooting, fixing, installing, upgrading, connecting, training end-users, securing—all related to infrastructure maintenance and user support. Roughly 60% of the open positions are in this area. There are some notable exceptions, mostly in Help Desk and hardware support.
